Carpe Diem

“Forever is composed of nows.”

― Emily Dickinson

You were called, you went through the roller coaster called “spiritual journey”, you came out alive, you dropped all you thought you knew, you got comfortable with not knowing, so now what? Carpe diem, naturally!

My birthday was the other day, and this is how it went…

All we have is here and now, and every day is like a whole life
This magical book arrived as a gift from a new friend on Monday. I opened it on this page spread on my birthday. To me it represented my current state of being: content with all I have here and now, yet staying open for expansion.
This is an original. My 93 year-old grandma wrote the wish on Viber, but it disappeared somehow, so she called to read it in person. So blessed to have her and so amazed how she is always open to learning new things. Not going to translate the whole thing for you, but only the last sentence: “May everything around you be enveloped in the magic called Love!”
My sweet neighbors know what I love.
Perfectly aligned: our thoughts/feelings in the now create the future and transform the past. All is a story, make it a good one.
Our mental/emotional and spiritual diets are very important, just like the physical food we consume. I surround myself with what feels good/stimulates my mind/nourishes my soul.
Like this little girl! Joy is the daughter of a wonderful friend and happens to be my birthday buddy! Her mom made this amazing cake for me and we celebrated together (four other adorable kiddos included).
Joy’s siblings brought art they made for me as a birthday gift – how cool is this dragonfly?
Everything cat is purrrfect.
Such a wonderful wish from another wonderful friend. We could all use this daily, wouldn’t you agree?
Emoji birthday wishes from an amazing friend who is as joyful as I am 🙂 We send each other fun messages on any day, no occasion needed.

Mental/emotional diet.
What do you desire? Serving self is like serving others, because all is one and there is no other. When you are joyful you radiate ripples of joy. All starts from inside out.
You are made of star stuff – shine bright and cherish the gift of life.
Love, baby, love – can’t go wrong with that 😉 Let’s infect the world with Love and see what happens 😉
All is you and you decide in the now who you want to be. Stay grateful stay blessed.
Full of gratitude for all the wonderful people in my life and all my blessings. Every day is full of miracles, if you have the eyes to see them.

Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.

– Dead Poets Society

Biggest birthday gift: wholeness

P.S. Follow the daily miracles I see here.

Happy Birthday Day, Happy Day! Reading your blog makes me think of what I want for my kids. I’ve always wanted them to be happy and love what they do. Seems like you have achieved that in your life! All the best!

    • Thank you so much, Bill!!! I always love hearing from you, sorry for late reply! I wish the same for your kids – to source their joy from within and do what they love!! You are a great example to them! Happy New Year!!! 🙂
